Welcome to the Church Times blog. A 'blog', for those mystified by the term, is widely regarded as 'a website where entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order' (Wikipedia). The Church Times blog will be written and drawn by Dave Walker and will feature cartoons, commentary and links.

Feeds

The blog will update regularly - usually at least once a day. The easiest way to follow the site is using the site feed which allows you to recieve the latest updates in a number of different ways. Alternatively you can subscribe by e-mail - this will bring send the latest blog posts to your inbox every day.

Dave Walker draws the weekly 'Dave Walker Guide to the Church' in the Church Times and runs the CartoonChurch website and the Cartoon Blog. During the summer of 2008 he is to be the 'cartoonist in residence' for the Lambeth Conference. He lives in the posh part of Basildon with his wife and two cats.

Information for commenters

We welcome comments on this blog. All comments on the Church Times blog will be moderated before publication. We reserve the right to publish or not publish comments at our discretion. In particular we are unlikely to publish comments which:

• Do not adhere to the generally accepted rules of Netiquette
• Show no respect for other commenters
• Have been posted with the main aim of advertising the commenter's website

Reusing the cartoons

All Dave Walker cartoons are © Dave Walker and cannot be published elsewhere without permission. However, if you're a blogger we're happy for you to post the occasional cartoon, provided that you:

1. Host the image on your own webspace
2. Credit the image to 'Dave Walker'
3. Post a link to the Church Times blog
