The Association for Church Editors  seeks entries, by Friday 22 March, for its Award Scheme for Church Magazines. This year, the scheme is restricted to magazines that are black-and-white print only, of A5 portrait layout in the publication's final format, that have four or more editions each year, with regular print runs not exceeding 1200 copies. There will be two categories, with print runs of 50-250 copies and of 250-1200 copies.

The scheme is indifferent to the colour of the paper on which the publication is printed, and will accept magazines that, of the four or more editions a year, have one or two editions carrying a colour-printed cover (outside front and back page) only. In such cases, however, the review will be based on a monochrome photocopy of the cover page. To enter, three copies of two recent editions (i.e. with a cover dated after June 2012) should be sent to Keith Milmer, Chairman, The Association for Church Editors, 18 Churchway, Haddenham, Aylesbury, Bucks HP17 8AA, to reach him by 22 March 2013.

Ann Meakin, for research about ancient parsonage houses, would like to hear from anyone who knows of a parsonage house that was built in the 16th century, and is still in use today as the clergy house for the parish. She can be contacted by email to meakin.a@tiscali.co.uk.

Lawrence McNulty seeks information about George F. Dempster (d. 1955), author of Finding Men for Christ and other works published by Hodder & Stoughton. Though Dempster was apparently not an Anglican cleric, he is believed to have ministered in London. Mr McNulty can be contacted at mcnulty99@gmail.com.

The Revd Andrew Allen, celebrating the centenary of the spire of St Mary's, Slough, seeks stories and pictures from parishioners of other churches, with a spire, dedicated to St Mary. See www.stmarys-slough-org.uk/aboutsm/ourstory.html. He can be contacted by email at upton.c.chalvey@gmail.com, or by phone on 01753 5259988.

Elizabeth Bingham seeks volunteers to help record local, original, and unique church kneelers: for details, see www.parishkneelers.co.uk. She can be contacted by email at elizabethbingham@hotmail.co.uk, or by phone on 01874 754348.
