THE Ven. Dr William Jacob, Archdeacon of Charing Cross, in London diocese, since 1996, and Rector of St Giles-in-the-Fields, in that diocese, since 2000, will retire on 31 December. He had held other posts in London diocese since 1996, and in Lincoln diocese before then.
