BRYAN. - On 20 September, the Revd Philip Richard Bryan: Vicar of St Bees and Chaplain of St Bees School (1977-2006); Hon. Canon of Carlisle Cathedral (1991-2000); 74.

BUTLER. - On 30 October, the Revd Ian Malcolm Butler: Vicar of Sissinghurst with Frittenden (1978-91); Chaplain of Dulwich Preparatory School, Cranbrook (1990-2005); aged 74.

CLARK. - On 3 November, the Revd Arthur Clark: Vicar of Llawhaden with Bletherston and Llanycefn (1992-96); aged 84.

CONNELL. - On 21 September, the Revd Heather Josephine Connell: Parish Deacon of St Barnabas's, Gillingham (1987-90); District Chaplain of Medway NHS Trust (1991-96); NSM of Holy Trinity, Gillingham (1994-2007); aged 76.

DOCKER. - On 3 November, the Rt Revd Ivor Colin Docker: Lecturer of St John the Baptist, Halifax (1952-54); Area Secretary of the Church Missionary Society for Derby, Lincoln, and Southwell dioceses (1954-58); Southern Metropolitan Secretary (1958-59); Vicar of Midhurst (1959-64); Rural Dean of Midhurst, and Rector of Woolbeding (1961-64); Vicar of Seaford with Sutton, and Rural Dean of Seaford (1964-71); Canon and Prebendary of Chichester Cathedral (1966-91); Vicar of St Mary the Virgin, Eastbourne, and Rural Dean of Eastbourne (1971-75); Bishop Suffragan of Horsham (1975-84); Area Bishop (1984-81); Hon. Assistant Bishop in the diocese of Exeter since 1991; aged 89.

MAYES. - On 23 October, the Revd Anthony Bernard Duncan Mayes: Assistant Curate of Halton (1958-60); in the United States since 1960; aged 85.
