Resignations and retirements

Dean resigns

THE Very Revd Dr John Marsden, Dean of St Brigid’s Cathedral, Kildare, and Rector of Kildare with Kilmeague and Curragh Garrison, in Meath & Kildare diocese, since 2006, and of Newbridge with Carnalway and Kilcullen, in that diocese, since 1997, will resign with effect from 13 April.

 

AVESON. The Revd Ian Aveson, Acting Area Dean of Llandovery, remaining Vicar of Llandingat with Myddfai (St Davids).

CHIKE. The Revd Chigor Chike, Priest-in-Charge of All Saints’, Forest Gate, remaining Vicar of Emmanuel Church, Forest Gate, with St Peter’s, Upton Cross (Chelmsford).

GRAHAM. The Revd Michael Graham, Rector of Drogheda with Ardee, Collon and Termonfeckin, and of Kilsaran with Drumcar, Dunleer and Dunany (Armagh).

HUTCHINSON. The Revd Maxwell Hutchinson, NS Assistant Curate (Distinctive Deacon) of St John on Bethnal Green (London).

KEIGHLEY. The Revd David Keighley, Priest-in-Charge of Hurstbourne Tarrant and Faccombe and Vernham Dean and Linkenholt (Winchester): 18 February.

MAUNDER. The Revd Alan Maunder, Vicar of Cwmaman and Acting Area Dean of Dyffreyn Aman (St Davids): 30 April.

PARSONS. The Revd Dr Jennifer Parsons, Diocesan Social Responsibility Officer (St Davids): 31 March, remaining Canon Emeritus of Gloucester Cathedral (Gloucester).

READ. The Revd Benjamin Read, Assistant Curate of St Peter with St John the Evangelist, Carmarthen, and Abergwili and Capel Y Groes (St Davids): 21 April.

RUSHFORTH. The Revd Colin Rushforth, Priest-in-Charge of St Stephen with St Matthias, Sneinton, and of St George with St John the Baptist, Nottingham (Southwell & Nottingham): 1 May.

THORBURN. The Revd Guy Thorburn, Area Dean of Harwich: 17 February, remaining Vicar of Great Clacton, Assistant Curate of the Harwich Peninsula, Area Dean of St Osyth, and Hon. Canon of Chelmsford Cathedral (Chelmsford).
