Archdeacon retires

THE Ven. Robert Williams, Archdeacon of Gower, in Swansea & Brecon diocese, since 2000, will retire on 31 August. Before his present post, he had held appointments in the diocese from 1976 to 1988, and since 1994, and in St Asaph diocese between 1998 and 1994.

 

BARRETT. The Revd Rachel Barrett, Chaplain of Derby High School for Girls (Derby): 31 August.

BATE. The Revd Jennifer Bate, Assistant Curate of Allonby, Cross Canonby and Dearham (Carlisle).

BENNETT. The Revd George Ben­nett, Vicar of Newton, and Canon Chancellor of Brecon Cathe­dral (Swansea & Brecon): 30 Septem­ber.

HILL. The Revd Jennifer Hill, Team Rector in the Hemel Hempstead Team Ministry, and Diocesan Adviser for Women’s Ministry (St Albans).

MABIRE. The Revd Gillian Mabire, NSM of St Peter Port, Guernsey (Win­­chester and Canterbury).

MODY. The Revd Dr Rohintan Mody, Priest-in-Charge of Throop (Win­­chester).

MOSELING. The Revd Peter Moseling, Rector of Bletchingley and Nutfield, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark): 31 August, becoming Canon Emer­itus.

STUBBS. The Revd Ian Stubbs, Vicar of Glossop and of Dinting Vale (Derby): 1 August.

TRETHEWEY. The Revd Frederick Trethewey, Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church, Brittany (Europe): 3 Oct­ober.

WRIGHT. The Revd Patricia Wright, NS Assistant Curate (As­­sist­ant Priest) of Bramford and of Great and Little Blakenham with Bayl­ham and Nettlestead (St Ed­­munds­bury & Ipswich): 24 July.
