Archdeacon retires

THE Ven. Wilhelmina Smallman, Archdeacon of Southend, in Chelmsford diocese, since 2013, will retire on 31 December. Before her present appointment, she had held posts in London and Chelmsford dioceses since 2006.

 

BAMBER. The Revd Sheila Bamber, Canon Provost of Sunderland Minster, and Area Dean of Wearmouth (Durham): 31 December.

CLEMENT. The Revd Gwyn Clement, Edmonton Area Warden of Readers: 21 January, remaining Vicar of St Mary with Christ Church, Hendon (London).

DOBBIE. The Revd Gary Dobbie, Chaplain of Shrewsbury School (Lichfield).

EVANS. The Revd Anne Evans, OLM of Myddle, of Broughton, and of Loppington with Newtown (Lichfield): 30 April.

GOODWIN. The Revd Stephen Goodwin, Chaplain of Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton (Lichfield): 28 February.

GRAYSMITH. The Revd Penelope Graysmith, Chaplain of Katharine House Hospice, Stafford: 13 January, remaining Head of Chaplaincy Services of Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust (Lichfield).

JAMIESON. The Revd Thomas Jamieson, Rector of Ryton (Durham): 31 January.

KIRBY. The Revd Richard Kirby, Hon. Assistant Curate (Associate Minister) of Wellington with Eyton (Lichfield).

NORTON. The Revd Anthony Norton, house-for-duty Priest-in-Charge of Heveningham with Ubbeston, Huntingfield and Cookley (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich): 31 December.

ROBINSON. The Revd Christopher Robinson, OLM of Wilnecote (Lichfield).

SEYMOUR. The Revd David Seymour, Rural Dean of Blackmore Vale, remaining Vicar of Sturminster Newton, Hinton St Mary and Lydlinch, Assistant Curate of Hazelbury Bryan and the Hillside Parishes and of Oxeford, Priest-in-Charge of Marnhull, and Hon. Canon of Salisbury Cathedral (Salisbury).

SWABY. The Revd Desrene Swaby, Hon. Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) of St Michael and All Angels, Camberwell (Southwark).

TANNER. The Revd Martin Tanner, Priest-in-Charge of Drayton-in-Hales, Rural Dean of Hodnet, and Officiating Chaplain to the Military (Lichfield): 17 February.
