Suffragan Bishop of Jarrow to retire

THE Rt Revd Mark Bryant, Bishop of Jarrow in Durham diocese, since 2007, is to retire in October, aged 69. Before his current appointment, he was Archdeacon of Coventry, from 2001, and Residentiary Canon of Coventry Cathedral, from 2006. He served in Coventry diocese from 1983.

Archdeacon to retire

THE Ven. Annette Cooper, Archdeacon of Colchester, in Chelmsford diocese, since 2004, is to retire in November. One of the first women to be ordained priest and appointed archdeacon, she has served as a social worker, hospital chaplain, parish priest, and Area Dean.

ENGLISH. The Revd Dana English, Assistant Chaplain of All Saints’, Rome (Europe).

FEAVER. The Revd Nigel Feaver, Rector of Wincanton and of Pen Selwood (Bath & Wells): 31 May.

FINCH. The Revd Alison Finch, Team Vicar in the High Wycombe Team Ministry (Oxford) .

FORD. The Revd Peter Ford, Priest-in-Charge of St Laurence’s, Lanzarote, Canary Islands (Europe).

GILCHRIST. The Revd Gavin Gilchrist, Vicar of Tynemouth Cullercoats (Newcastle): 31 July.

HARRISON. The Revd Matthew Harrison, Chaplain of St George’s, Paris, France (Europe): 30 June.

HENDERSON. The Revd Janet Henderson, Rector of Ellesborough, The Kimbles and Stoke Mandeville (Oxford).

MINCHIN. The Revd Charles Minchin, Team Vicar in the Stroudwater Team Ministry (Gloucester): 30 September.

PETERS. The Revd Malcolm Peters, Priest-in-Charge of High Ongar with Norton Mandeville (Chelmsford): 30 June.

PRIVETT. The Revd Peter Privett, NSM (Associate Priest) of St Andrew’s, Rugby (Coventry).

RUNNACLES. The Revd Jasmine Runnacles, NS Assistant Curate of Burpham, remaining part-time Chaplain of Farnham and Milford Hospitals, Surrey Primary Care Trust (Guildford).
