Croydon retirement
THE Ven. Christopher Skilton, Archdeacon of Croydon since 2013, is to retire on 29 February 2020. Before his current post, he was Archdeacon of Lambeth from 2004, also in Southwark diocese. He was ordained priest in 1981, served curacies in London and Salisbury dioceses, before becoming Team Vicar in the Great Baddow Team Ministry, in Chelmsford diocese, in 1988. He moved to Southwark diocese in 1995.
