Durham archdeacon

THE Archdeacon of Durham, the Ven. Ian Jagger, is to retire on 17 April. He has held this post and been a Canon Residentiary of Durham Cathedral since 2016. Before this, he was Archdeacon of Auckland, also in Durham diocese, and the Diocesan Rural Development Officer. He was ordained priest in 1983, served his title in London diocese, before taking up posts in Oxford and Portsmouth dioceses.

GARDNER. The Revd Vincent Gardner, Vicar of St John the Evangelist and St Stephen, Reading (Oxford).

TAYLOR. The Revd James Taylor, Assistant Curate (Associate Rector) of St Helier, Jersey (Canterbury and Winchester).

THEAKSTON. The Revd Sally Theakston, Team Rector in the Dereham and District Team Ministry, Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands, and Hon. Canon of Norwich Cathedral (Norwich): 31 August.

WALSH. The Revd Alexandra Walsh, Assistant Curate of Buckingham (Oxford).
