St Albans archdeacon

THE Ven. Jonathan Smith, Archdeacon of St Albans, since 2008, retired on 1 September. Archdeacon Smith was ordained priest in 1991 and served in Newcastle, Chelmsford, and London dioceses, before moving to St Albans in 1988. Besides parish ministry, he was a Rural Dean, and Chaplain to the Bedfordshire Police.

 

COCKE. The Revd James Cocke, Vicar of All Saints’, Highfield, and Chaplain of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Oxford): 31 March.

COLES. The Revd Olivia Coles, Diocesan Baptism Co-ordinator, remaining NS Assist­ant Curate (Associate Priest) of Whittlesford (Ely).

DUCKETT. The Revd Keith Duckett, Chap­lain of Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust (Lichfield).

FOREMAN. The Revd Timothy Foreman, Priest-in-Charge of Eastchurch with Leysdown and Harty (Canterbury), remaining Chaplain to HM Prison Standford Hill.

JONES. The Revd Dr Martin Jones, OLM of the Denby Group (Derby): 31 January.

SHEPHERD. The Revd Pauline Shepherd, Wolverhampton Area Spiritual Companions Co-ordinator (Lichfield).

SIMPSON. The Revd Robert Simpson, Assis­t­ant Curate (Associate Priest) of St Briavels with Hewelsfield and Brockweir (Gloucester).

TODD. The Revd Clive Todd, Team Rector in the West Wight Team Ministry (Portsmouth): 15 March.

TOMPKINS. The Revd April Tompkins, NS Assistant Curate of St Peter’s, Belper (Derby).

TYLER. The Revd David Tyler, Area Dean of Woodstock, remaining Rector of Hanborough and Freeland, and Assistant Archdeacon of Dorchester (Oxford).

WATKIN. The Revd Deborah Watkin, NS Assistant Curate of Heath Hayes (Lichfield): 1 March.

WATKIN. The Revd Dr Glynne Watkin, Vicar of Heath Hayes (Lichfield): 1 March.

YANDELL. The Revd Dr Caroline Yandell, Vicar of Basingbourne and of Whaddon (Ely): 15 March.
