TELEVISION: Friday 7.30pm (C4) Unreported World Seyi Rhodes travels to South Sudan to join the Covid vaccination programme, but misinformation is causing vaccine scepticism.

Sunday 1.15pm (BBC1) Songs of Praise Claire McCollum takes a Christian heritage tour of Edinburgh, and hears about the faith of the sporting hero Eric Liddell.

8pm (BBC1) Call the Midwife The Poplar community rally round after the train collision (8/8).

Wednesday 10pm (BBC4) Mission: Joy — with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama The friendship between the two religious leaders, filmed over five days at the Dalai Lama’s residence in 2015.

 

RADIO: Sunday 8.10am (R4) Sunday Worship The Minister and Elder John Russell leads a service from Cornerstone Church, Nottingham, reflecting on God as refuge and strength.

10.30am (World Service) Heart and Soul: The right thing How a French-Algerian gay Muslim woman reconciled her faith and her sexuality (2/3).

3pm (R3) Choral Evensong A repeat of this week’s service from Buckfast Abbey, sung by the choir of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, recorded on 7 December 2021.

Monday 8pm (R4) Frontline Ophelia Byrne examines how the lives of Roman Catholic police officers in Northern Ireland have changed over the past 20 years.

Wednesday 4pm (R3) Choral Evensong Live from Bath Abbey.
