Aston archdeacon
THE Ven. Simon Heathfield, Archdeacon of Aston, in Birmingham diocese, since 2014, resigned on 30 September. He was ordained priest in 2000 and served his title in Chester diocese. He spent three years as Vocations and Ministry Adviser at the Church Pastoral Aid Society, before becoming Team Rector in the Walthamstow Team Ministry, in Chelmsford diocese, in 2006. He also served as Area Dean of Waltham Forest.
