A new stained-glass window for St Mary’s, Downe, in Orpington, is due to be dedicated by the Archdeacon of Bromley and Bexley, the Ven. Allie Kerr, at a service on Sunday afternoon. It has been donated by Dame Marion Roe in memory of James Kenneth Roe of Petleys. The design, by the artist David Griffiths, celebrates service, within the community and without. It features scenes from the village, Downe School, the Roe family, Westminster, the Ukrainian flag, and a rainbow representing the NHS
