The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher, at Norwich Foodbank
Bishops in Norwich diocese have been visiting foodbanks during the harvest season to raise awareness of both the increasing need for foodbanks, and campaigns to end this need. The Bishop of Norwich, the Rt Revd Graham Usher, and both his suffragans, the Bishops of Thetford, the Rt Revd Ian Bishop, and Lynn, Dr Jane Steen, have visited and blessed Norwich, Yarmouth and Magdalen, and King’s Lynn foodbanks in the Trussell (formerly Trussell Trust) network. Bishop Usher said: “My rather bizarre prayer for this charity is ‘God make the Norwich Foodbank not exist,’ because, if we did not need a foodbank, my goodness! we would be in a better place as a society”
