Pilgrims walk a new route, opened on Saturday, which links three churches: St Martin’s, Canterbury; St Mary and St Ethelburga’s Lyminge; and St Mary and St Eanswythe, Folkestone. Pilgrims are encouraged to reflect on the achievements of three women, each of whom is associated with one of the churches: St Bertha, St Ethelburga, and St Eanswythe, Bertha’s daughter.
