The Revd John Wall is Rector of the Uckfield Plurality in East Sussex.
The civic church of Stone, Staffordshire, along with our neighbours in Aston are looking for a new leader who will inspire us to grow in faith and make a lasting impact on our community.
The Benefice is located along the north bank of the River Thames, between Windsor and Slough. It is conveniently located close to the M4, M25, and M40, with rail links to London, and a short distance from Heathrow.
Our requirements are a bit different. We don’t need a Saint, we don’t require a Prophet, we’re not looking for a Martyr.
These rural parishes lie in the beautiful Peak District National Park. The area has hundreds of thousands of visitors exploring the story of self-sacrifice during the plague at Eyam, remembering the battle of Agincourt, visiting Chatsworth House or climbing, walking and cycling on the wild moors and gritstone edges.
We are looking for a MA Leader who can shape and strengthen a shared sense of identity and purpose whilst celebrating the history and heritage of each place.
