BELLAMY. — On 10 June, the Revd Mervyn Roger Hunter Bellamy: Vicar of Shiregreen (1985-94); Rural Dean of Ecclesfield (1993-94); Rector of Rawmarsh with Parkgate (1994-2001); Priest-in-Charge of King’s Sutton and Newbottle and Charlton (2001-09); Rural Dean of Brackley (2005-13);. Canon of Peterborough Cathedral (2009-17); Vicar of King’s Sutton and Newbottle and Charlton (2009-18); aged 71.

BERRY. — On 26 May, the Very Revd Dr Peter Austin Berry: Coventry Diocesan Community Relations Chaplain (1964-70); Assistant Curate of Coventry Cathedral (1966-73); Midlands Regional Officer for the Community Relations Commission (1970-73); Residentiary Canon of Coventry Cathedral (1973-86); Vice-Provost (1977-86); Adviser to the Bishop of Coventry on Community Relations (1977-86); Provost of Birmingham Cathedral (1986-99); aged 83.

CLARKE. — On 26 April, the Revd Douglas Charles Clarke: Vicar of the Ascension, Collier Row, Romford (1972-79); Bembridge (1979-83); Vicar of St Mary’s, Bournemouth (1983-87); Rector of High Wych and Gilston with Eastwick (1987-2000); aged 84.

EDGELL. — On 13 June, the Revd Hugh Anthony Richard Edgell: Rector of South Walsham (1964-74); Vicar of Upton with Fishley (1964-74); Rector of Hingham (1974-81); Assistant Chaplain of the Order of St John of Jerusalem (1979-88); Priest-in-Charge of Scoulton and Woodrising (1980-81); Rector of Hingham with Woodrising with Scoulton (1981-85); Priest-in-Charge of Beeston with Ashmanaugh (1985-89); Rector of Horning (1985-89); Prior of St Benet’s Priory, Horning (1987-95); Serving Brother of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of St Jerusalem since 1988; Rector of Horning with Beeston with Ashmanaugh (1989-95); aged 86.

FAURE WALKER. — On 10 June, the Revd Edward Faure Walker DL: NSM of All Saints’, Pin Green, Stevenage (2004-17): aged 71.

SCREECH. — On 1 June, the Revd Professor Michael Andrew Screech: Extraordinary Fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford since 1993; NSM of St Giles, St Philip and St James with St Margaret, Oxford (1993-02); Chaplain and Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford (2001-03): aged 92.
