Archdeacon retires

THE Ven Douglas McKittrick, Archdeacon of Chichester, since 2002, is to retire on 30 June. When appointed, he was based in Brighton in recognition of the importance of the new city. Before his current post, he was Vicar of St Peter’s with the Chapel Royal, Brighton, Rural Dean of Brighton, and a Canon and Prebendary of Chichester Cathedral, from 1997. He served his curacy in Southwark diocese, and spent 17 years in Liverpool diocese.

 

BUNKER. The Revd Elizabeth Bunker, Team Vicar in the Hitchin and St Paul’s Walden Team Ministry (St Albans): 1 October.

CASWELL. The Revd Roger Caswell, Team Rector in the Littlehampton Team Ministry (Chichester): 30 June.

LAMB. The Revd Mary Lamb, NS Assistant Curate (Assistant Priest) of Framlingham and Saxtead (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich): 3 September.

MACKENZIE. The Revd Ann Mackenzie, Priest-in-Charge of the Church of our Saviour, East Springfield, Local Ecumenical Partnership (Chelmsford): 13 August.

SKIPWORTH. The Revd Nicola Skipworth, Priest-in-Charge of Pembroke Dock (St David’s): 31 August.

STRATFORD. The Revd Terence Stratford, NSM (Associate Priest) of New Shoreham and Shoreham Beach, and Rural Dean of Hove (Chichester): 30 June.

WHITE. The Revd Vernon White, Canon Theologian and Sub Dean of Westminster Abbey, and Visiting Professor in Theology at King’s College, London: 30 September.
